A sought after solo performer and teacher, Stacy Arnold holds a Master of Music degree from Southern Methodist University where he was a scholarship student and graduate teaching assistant of world-renowned performer and teacher Robert Guthrie. He also holds a Bachelor of Music degree in classical guitar performance from Middle Tennessee State University (Murfreesboro, TN), where he studied under Dr. William Yelverton and Dr. Richard Todd. Mr. Arnold has also been guided in master class instruction by David Tanenbaum, Gordon O’Brien, and Robert Guthrie (Taos, New Mexico).

Mr. Arnold serves as Professor of guitar at Navarro College and Tarrant County Community College-Southeast Campus. Mr. Arnold has previously directed the guitar program at Southwestern Assemblies of God University, North Central Texas College, and Hill College. He has also served as an alumni guitar instructor in the community education program in connection with the Meadows School of Music at Southern Methodist University. Currently he serving as Artist in Residence with Waxahachie classical (WaxaClassical.com) and is represented in management by North Texas Guitars (www.northtexasguitars.com).

. Mr. Arnold’s students are active performers and teachers and hold positions as the head of guitar departments on University campuses. His students have been scholarship recipients at Universities such as Southern Methodist University and Southwestern Assemblies of God University and have been active participants in masterclasses and recitals at classical guitar workshops/festivals.

Mr. Arnold has been a featured performer with the Arts in the Airport Series at the Nashville International Airport, Mu Phi Epsilon Sunday Concert Series (Dallas Public Library), Crape Myrtle Festival , City Arts Festival (Dallas, Tx.), West Fest Music Festival (Cleburne, Tx.), Opryland Hotel, Layland Museum, Southern Methodist University, Evangel University Artist Series, Episcopal Church of the Holy Spirit (Waco, Tx.), North Central Texas College, University of Louisiana at Lafayette, Middle Tennessee State University, Ft. Burgwin (Taos, New Mexico), Cheekwood Botanical Gardens, St. Athanasius Episcopal Church, Stonesriver Mansion, St. Joseph's Catholic Church, The Rosemary Mansion, The Vanderbilt University Club, Fort Burgwin(Taos, New Mexico) and Thistle Hill.

Recent performances include concerts at Chatauqua Auditorium (Waxahachie, Tx.), Wyatt Mansion, First Presbyterian Church (Athens, Tx.), Trinity Valley Community College, Fairmont Hotel (Dallas, Tx.), Ft. Worth Hilton, Waxahachie Public library, Austin Public Library, Fivetwelve College Tea House (Performance Series), Hill College Performing Artist Series, Robson Ranch Concert Series, and Louisiana College. Mr. Arnold’s concerts showcase the guitar’s heritage from Renaissance Spain through the 20th century with an emphasis on the music of Latin America.
